#asktheexpert Should we make a 7 month old try to walk and can we pick him by his hands?

A. it is not advisable to make the child walk at 7 months of age because it will put extra pressure on the back of the child kindly keep the child seated well with the backrest

A. As Oh now you should not make your child stand with support or walk your child with support as of now I can only tell you that you learn to make your child sit with support slowly gradually once your child will learn to sit with support and after that independence that would be the right time for you to make your child stand with support like after the age of eight months right now if you do it will be like stressing your child
