#asktheexpert Right now I am having constipation and anal fissure. For that I am consuming some medicines. Is there any chance that my baby is also suffering from these as I am breastfeeding her.

it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also.
it is also normal if they are passing stool more than 6 or 7 times per day.
if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to black) of the stool.
also straining while passing urine and stool is normal.
Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

Madam you are breastfeeding the child your problems are not going to transmit to your child because you’re breastfeeding because it is not a contagious problem so you know if you’re facing a problem it is just going to stick to you is not going to affect your child in any manner
