Q.

#asktheexpert Recently I have started feeling a pea size lump on the back of neck, near the ear of my 2 year old. Lump is inside of the skin, can be felt only by softly touching it, not visible outside. My baby doesn't complain anything when i touch it. Can you help me what is it, should I worry about it?

A. You should get a check with your doctor because currently what I’m going to tell you the doctors can only confirm on that after examining the child if it is a soft ball which is moving around but not creating a problem I think this is a lipoma which is of fat ball which is genetic into a child body from any of the hereditary and does not create any problem it is just a fat in the body
