Q.

#AskTheExpert our 8.5 month old has lost appetite towards any porridge. she is been drinking only formula as of now. Her teething is happening at present and she just recovered from cough and cold. what could be the reason behind her loss of appetite and when will she start eating as she used to?

A. it is advisable to continue your efforts in feeding the child. many times it take more efforts from the parents to make the child eat nutritious food. so kindly go for different recipes and flavours which might improve the appetite of the child. At the same time it is also important to meet your doctor to rule out nutritional deficiency which might be the cause of loss of appetite. Give juice fruits and water which will improve appetite and regular physical activity. many time it can occur due to seasonal changes as well as due to teething pain
