it appears to be allergic cough/cold ( most commonly seen in children less than 6 years of agxe).
usually they are not associated with fever and the cough and cold can continue for many weeks.
they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmxental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning.
also they may be food allergy ,cold allergy and allergy to dust,smoke,pollens also.
