Q.

#asktheexpert. now only I saw some posts and videos.....I gave 4 spoons of sugar everyday for my 16mnths baby.....is that affect in future I'm so worried from today I won't give her sugar till 2yrs....I gave her for past i months daily four spoon mng 2 spoons in dosa with milk and night also ...what to do..I'm worried does it affect my baby does chronic disease affect my baby...pls reply I'm soo worried😭😭😭

A. Sugar can be given to the child from the age of one year on birth Dr say that you can give it but honestly telling you sugar has a lot of calories in it but it does not have any nutritive content with jaggery also has similar amount of calories but it is highly rich in iron and other substitutes so obviously you should not give too much of sugar to the child because it’s not healthy for immune system and can create problems in the future because your child is having too much of sugar already so if you want to give sweet try to replace it with jaggery and reduce reduce on the content give only if it is required unnecessarily do not give it milk and milk and all these things because they have their general sweetness on their own their own
