Q.

#AskTheExpert My twin girls are 2.5 yrs old and I want ask that their hemoglobin is 12 which is normal or it should be more. How can I work on that?

A. you can give food rich in iron the child is suffering from anaemia due to iron deficiency so you'll have to give food which is rich in Iron and like cereals pulses apple banana as well as green leafy vegetables and beetroot. also you will have to start iron supplements and it would consist of iron Folic acid and Vitamin B12 and take follow up every month with the doctor

A. Hi Offer different varieties of food fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc Give three meal and two snacks Give healthy protein rich nutritious food take seasonal fruits and vegetables which is rich in all minerals and vitamins maintain hydration Maintain hydration
