#AskTheExpert my twin babies are having umbilical hernia …do I need to worry about it ???

A. most of the times the umbilical hernia will be getting corrected as the baby is growing in age b v b and it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination and if it is need for appropriate investigations in this regard and far proper management of the problem

A. There is a good chance that your child's umbilical hernia will close on its own. Most of the time, a hernia that starts before 6 months of age will go away by 1 year of age. Your child may need surgery if the hernia is very large or if a hernia of any size has not gone away by age 5.
