#asktheexpert My son was born preterm in January currently weighing around 6.2kgs...is his weight okay? or what can I do to increase his weight? We have started giving him liquids and semi solid food.

A. Hello mom as he is a preterm baby hence their weight gain compared to full term baby would be low a swell, and it is normal. gradually they catch up, as you have already started with liquid and semi solids, you may gradually move to soft consistency foods, and increase the variety and also the quantity.
