Q.

#AskTheExpert My son was advised by the doctor ambrodil for cough Since he was coughing more I stopped the medicine. Is that OK?

A. my daughters pediatrician had also prescribed Ambrodil when she was 1.5 months old for cold till 2.5 months same medicine worked for her but then I observed when she got cold again same was not at all affective hence got the same changed. they say medicine are prescribed as per age I guess if it's not working you should get it changed

A. j cCold and cough in small babies because of viral infections due to less immunity in the baby treat them sympatically with steam inhalation and saline drops in the nose of the baby it will subside in one week time

A. yes so. for this concern it shall require a comprehensive examination and also a detailed evaluation of this concern so to make sure if it shall need any treatment or else it s ok for now .
