#AskTheExpert my son pockets food inside her mouth.. and he hits his head occasionally with his hand.. i am worried. Kindly help

While i feed my son something to chew, he pockets it at the side of cheeks and keeps it there for 10-15 mins.. then i keep on asking him to chew then he either spit it out and chew it a little and again pocket the remaining.. its everyday routine. So i dont know how can i solve this. Another issue i see in my son is like sometimes throughout the day, he hits his head with his hand.. he stops it when his dad asks to.. so i am worried how to improve these things in my kid
