Yes of course probably it’s due to an infection only but right or what you do is take some warm water add some antiseptic liquid into that and clean that area properly using a cotton pull the skin down clean it properly and then apply some oil and apply some powder on the external area to keep it dry if you see the problem is persisting then you check with your doctor as sometimes when proper hygiene is not maintain that time also this can happen specially under the skin
