#AskTheExpert my son is suffering with dengue. today is the 7th day. 2.75 lac platelet in the first day and 1.6 lac platelet on the 4th day. we have to go for the blood test once again or not??? still plateles count will drop or not??? what is the diet to increase platelet count?? what is the normal 9years boy platelet count??

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. the platelet count is still ok and you can try giving papaya foods like that which will improve platelet count at the same time if the dengue is treated automatically the platelet levels will increase and you need to talk to your doctor regarding when to do the next test
