Q.

#AskTheExpert My son is now 14 month and his weight is 10.6 kg. 3 month ago it was 10.2 kg. He is doing potty 3-4 times a day from the beginning. Is there any problem.?

A. No problem if baby is passing adequate urine. If baby is active and playful,  no fever,  passing adequate urine ie.  minimum 6-8 times per day, then no need to worry for motion ( once in 7 days or  15 times per day-  both conditions are totally normal. and If baby is active, playful then no need to worry for weight.  Baby gain weight 200 gms per week for first 3months of age  Baby doubles of it's birth weight  at 5.5 months of age and triple at 1yrs of age. At 1yr weight should be 9-11 kg  At 2yr 10-12 kg  And at  3 yrs 13-15 kg  4yrs 15-17kg  5yrs 16-18kg

A. hi no ,no problem as your child Gains enough weight ,and if your child looks happy healthy and active then no need to worry about anything . please don't take much stress for your child weight because it is more important for a child to remain healthy and active then any other things. so please focus on healthy development of your child.
