#AskTheExpert my son is having a runny nose no fever but nose running every 15 days . if he sits under the fan for some time it starts running .It's not blocked but it's running

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. it's allergy it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapyd or nebulization. when allergies are not controlled they can lead to intermittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine

Nihita mittalMom of a 7 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. good morning I would recommend you to try to keep roasted ajwain in a handkerchief near the nose of the child it is advisable that you should try to apply baby Vicks rub on the nose and give your child steam
