#asktheexpert My son is 8yrs old and since last two months he is getting scared of darkness and has in thoughts of monsters and behaving very low...attracts negative things more and feels insecure ,he saw some horror movies trailer of Annabelle and now in those thoughts all the time please help

A. did all that but of no use he has that image of annabella and think it's real and in museum and can harm him..we assure we are always there with him but he got scared even listening outside voices and I am even accompany him.in washroom as well...will this fear go on his own with time or I need to take some treatment

A. Under the circumstances, the first thing you need to do is sit down with him and give him a chance to discuss the film openly. Ask him what he saw, what he thought about it, and how it made him feel. Whatever you do, don't make light of his fears or dismiss his feelings as silly or immature.
