#AskTheExpert My son is 7th months old and weigh 8.3 kg. My pediatrics gavr Cpink suspension as iron dose daily 5ml .My son start irritating while taking this. Is that right dose?

A. hey dear I mom of 7 month old baby n my Dr also proscribed me iron dosage . daily dosage 2.5 ml

A. Well The weight of your child is very good but 5ML dosage is too much for a child to have at this age your child is six months plus right so you can give dosage of 1ML twice a day that’s going to be 2ML 5 ml is given to like or see your own for your own child so please do not give so much of medicine to the child I don’t know why your doctor has given you such a heavy dosage
