#asktheexpert my son is 6 yr 4 m old. but his weight is not too much. what should i give him to gain the weight

A. dear mum, to gain weight of your 6 years 4 months old son, give homemade balanced diet having variety of food groups. grains and millets 4 servings pulses legumes/egg non veg: 1-2 servings seasonal vegetables including green leafy vegetables: 1.5 serving fruits - 1 serving milk and milk products 500ml sugar 4 tsp oil 5 tsp control intake of process packaged food

A. More of proteins can be given to the child as of flow along with that you need to understand as to why your child is underweight or not gaining weight so that I suggest you to get a deficiency test done for the child as that is going to give you a further clarity on the situation.
