Q.

#asktheexpert my son is 6.9 yrs old. he is a very active boy bt he is not gaining weight.. he is only 17.50 kg and height is 3.10 ft.. is it ok or what should I do for his weight gain..

A. Weight gain in a child is a good indicator for proper health of the child and there should be a regular weight gain as per the age of the child. if there is not a proper weight gain it can be because of many factors and three most important causes are Baby not tagking enough calories Baby is not absorbing the enoughh calories which the baby is taking Baby is burning too many calories . So a proper assessment is very important to know the cause regarding this .

No This is a trial should be somewhere of 22 KG so it’s little less for an average rate of the child and According to the height it could be somewhere around 22 to 24 KG as well so I will just say that you should consult a nutritionist once to understand this in detail and accordingly the diet plan can also be suggested it mean
