#AskTheExpert my son is 4months old now and he is pooping 3-4 times a day and saliva is seen in that poop. What is the reason behind this ?why the poop consistency is not coming in paste form as he is drinking mother’s milk only.Previously he was pooping once/twice in a day and consistency was good. Please say me what to do Can I give cerelac to my son as he is not drinking formula only mothers milk he is drinking. Extra what shall I give him?

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is only for months of age since baby is only on mothers feeding their is no need to worry about the consistency frequency colour of the stool baby is passing since baby cannot have any infection do not give anything up to 6 months for the baby
