#AskTheExpert my son is 4.5 months old. he has got good weight gain. I tried to give him solid food( Apple juice) but he is not eating at all. cries a lot to eat. should I wait for completion of 6 months to give him food? or try some other food? please advice

A. no dear don't try to give top food at 4 month. No other foods or fluids – including water – are not necessary till 6 months.  Exclusive breast feed your baby two hourly and on demand . Breast milk is the recommended source of nutrition for infants, especially during the first six months of life.
