#AskTheExpert My son is 3yrs 2 month old last night he has blackish stool..like blood. And from last 2-3 days during eating he complain about stomachache. Pls suggest

A. I think you have to consult your pediatrician immediately without any delay. Blood in stools could be a surgical emergency and you have to take a consult from a pediatric surgeon

A. Mam in stool test blood is absent. But hemoglobin is 6.9 What is reason behind this problem mam. pls suggest

A. Any blood in your child's stool should be evaluated by a pediatrician to rule out a serious underlying condition. Contact your child's pediatrician right away if your child appears to be very sick or has: black or tarry stool.
