#asktheexpert# my son is 3 years old. he had a sudden temperature rise since yesterday night upto 100degree F.without any other symptoms.i gave paracetamol syrup and again after about 8 hours the temperature again rise.what is the reason?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy2 years agoA. the duration of action of paracetamol is only between 4 hours to 6 hours so after that you have to repeat the medicine again and you can also do bodies points to decrease the body temperature
