#asktheexpert my son is 3 years and 5 months old he is still drooling. Is this normal?

A. Drooling often happens in young children who haven't yet developed the proper motor control or awareness to swallow their saliva. But, by the age of four, children should be able to control their drooling habits. After this age, excessive drooling may be a sign of an underlying condition.
