A. He was in school. Can it cause the cold cough? My son has gone through VSD surgery when he was 6 months and circumcised when he was 1.5 years. Recently faced post covid complications in 1st week of march. What can I do to improve his immunity? I was able to breast feed him for only 1st 6 months

A. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to weather changes around the child. For cold you can give syp maxtra /wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2 to 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold) Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly. Indirect steam can also be given. For fever and pain give paracetamol Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. Give warm water to drink. you can continue the medicine you are giving now
