Mom of a 2 yr 4 m old boy2 years ago
Q.

#asktheexpert My son is 3 months and 5 days old. He doesn't take feed in one go. Mostly I have to make him burp even after 2 min of breastfeeding then he can take more feed. Sometimes he plays along with feeding. How many times should I breastfeed him in a day? Does it affect his growth?

A. dear Mum, you should breastfeed as per your baby's demand. if your baby is active, alert, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours, gaining adequate weight at least 500 grams weight per month then feeding is sufficient.
