#AskTheExpert My son is 2yrs 10 months old. he often complain about stomach pain and his motion is very hard. Is this due to worms? what should we do to deworm? or is this due to less fibre?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently.
There could be many reasons for this .it can be functional or due to some pathology which needs to be ruled out.
Common causes are constipation gaseous discomfort worm infestation gastritis gastroenteritis or some chronic infection .
Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach pain and consult your doctor fkjor proper examintation to rule out the cause .

Constipation is very common in babies in such case you should definitely add some fiber food in babies regular diet plan and you should start giving papaya and pineapple regularly to your baby. For worms issues you should give deworming medicine to your baby. And you have to repeat it on every six months gap
