Q.

#AskTheExpert my son is 2 years now and he still doesn't speak ... every day we practice in front of him to say mommy papa but he just ignore and also we sing poems every day to him... earlier he used to repeat the actions but now it stopped

A. In thishoo here it is very difficult to comment properly until a proper examination or assessment is done to find out the exact cause so it is advisable to consult your doctor so that he could examine and evaluate properly and will guide you accordingly for this .

A. Don't worry. this is how it starts By 9months to 1yeat they just say mama, papa. By 15 months will understand whatever we say and will observe more. By 18 months they speak few meaningful words amma appa papa mamma thattha.. After two years they make combinations of words like amma give, amma take, appa go, mama come.. Later they make sentences. It will take time for them to speak complete full sentences. Just keep talking more to your kid.to make them speak follw these everyday
