#AskTheExpert my son is 2 months old. recently have observed tough skin layers on my baby's skull, the layers are hard but removable. shall I remove those or wait for it to automatically loosen up? is there any cream that I can apply and what could be the reason?

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. hello this can be due to the cradle cap and you may apply pure coconut oil over the area or you can even be applying baby hair oil which is made of natural ingredients and contains tea tree oil in it which can help to prevent the cradle cap problem
