#AskTheExpert My son is 2 month old and for last 1 week the color of his stool is green. What should be do?

A. an imbalance of foremilk/l and the hindmilk, often resulting in frothy green stools. .It Can be remedied by limiting feeding times or sticking to one breast when feeding your baby.

A. If baby is formula fed, then the green or dark color of the stool is normal due to iron content present in it. But if baby is breastfed, then green poop means baby is getting more foremilk and less hind milk. While nursing, make sure you keep massaging the breasts. Take care of your diet. If mother have included green leafy vegetables, color can also change.
