Q.
#asktheexpert my son is 1 year and he is hyper active. But he is not sleeping like before. in day time he is not sleeping. night also he is sleeping at 1 am around. I am not sure whether it is common or if he must sleep. please suggest.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. you should first visit a pediatrician who will tell if the growth milestones of the child is proper or not and if they are normal than there is no need to worry about the hyper activity of the child. stsill you can meet a developmental pediatrician who will guide you regarding the same.
many times at this age proper counselling is also needed which will also help in improving the behaviour of the child.
decrease tv mobile laptop and any type of screen time which might be going on as well as see the games which the child is playing because that might also cause hyperativity
