#AskTheExpert My son has consistent cough issue. I had to treat him with nebuliser and all. Is their any permanent solution to this problem as it kept getting back after months.

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evfaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.gr if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello mom go for Hemopateic treatment and You can give your child steam at least three times a day rub Vicks on his feet and make him wear socks for instant relief from cough give him mixture of honey Tulsi juice and Ginger juice 3 times a day
