#AskTheExpert My son had pink eye from Friday morning(brought from school). Consulted doctor she prescribed antibiotics oral medicine and ciprofloxacin eye drops as he is having sore throat and pink eye. His pink eye started decreasing 2nd day and 3rd day 99% cured. but 2nd day evening and night he had fever 101C. 3rd day no fever bit night he had 99.7C fever. He is having antibiotics still he is having fever? why? Is this because of sore throat or pink eye? Now he is having cough also.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 8 m old boy2 years agoA. the antibiotic was given either due to some type of throat infection or eyes infection and you have to complete the course of antibiotics for at least 5 days and then take a follow up
