Q.

#asktheexpert my son had a cold cough for the past two months The doctor has given him antibiotics and levocet m also but didn't get any results Please help

A. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) which the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anzti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there is a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization. when allergies are not controlled they can lead to intermzittent respiratory infections which needs other medicine

A. If the cold is continuous that means your child is having an allergy I suggest you kindly conduct an allergy test for the child to know what is your child allergic to as further treatment can be suggested on the basis of the allergy I suggested to go for homeopathy this time
