#asktheexpert My son born on 21st September 2023 had a blood test done before discharge. He had bilirubin 15.35 and he was under phototherapy for 16 hrs and discharged after that. As on today 29th September I see normal urine white in colour and normal motion and slight yellow in his eyes. How long will it take to see a clear white eye for a new born.

A. do not worry if the eyes are having yellow tinch will become normal soon. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment
