If he is asleep after feeding, put him on your shoulders and gently pat on the back few times until he burps. If u think he is spitting up too much try reducing his feed and feed him at frequent intervals. While laying the baby keep him in an elevated position with his head higher than the legs. Laying him on the left side will also help. Don't lay down ur baby to sleep without burping. If the baby doesn't burp after trying for long, keep the baby in an upright position on ur shoulders for few minutes atleast twenty minutes to half an hour. Drooling is common when babies undergo teething. It is also a sign of their readiness to chew and eat and start with their baby language. While babies drool or spit up they are more likely to develop rashes. Daily wipe the baby chin and area around mouth, cheeks and neck with warm water using a soft cotton cloth twice. If the rash looks very reddish, cracked and painful please consult your pediatrician. Otherwise if it's mild apply little coconut oil(pure one). This will ease the irritation and suppress further infection
