#Asktheexpert My son 3.7 years old having diarrhea from past 25 days. Nothing is working. Even gave him oflomac m forte And many sachets. But his diarrhea is same Hard stool 5-6 times in a day. Please help out

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associatedhj with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Then get a stool test done for your child I think it could be a protein allergy or some another issue maybe infection and that is once you are sure about what the reason is accordingly for the medication or antibiotics can be suggested for your child
