#asktheexpert my son (2 years old) suffering from lack of apepitite and it's persisting since a month. plz guide

A. it is advisable to continue your efforts in feeding the child. many times it take more efforts from the parents to make the child eat nutritious food. so kindly go for different recipes and flavours which might improve the appetite of the child. at the same time it is alszo important to meet your doctor to rule out nutritional deficiency which might be the cause of loss of appetite. give juicez fruits and water which will improve appetite and regular physical activity.

A. hi dear If the child is around 1 or 2 years and not eating anything, see if s/he is teething. Kids usually don't want to eat because of the pain around the gums. Sometimes loss of iron in children's bodies also contributes to loss of appetite.
