#AskTheExpert My son 2.5 years old and premature born. He is squint, do he need any surgery or any other treatment? Or it will go by age?

A. You should certainly visit a pediatric ophthalmologist. It is good if you are treating this as early as possible. This will have great impact on your baby's future vision . If squint is left untreated it may impact the child's 3d vision. Based on the severity of the squint they may suggest exercises or surgery.
