Q.

#AskTheExpert my one month old baby is not able poop... he keeps on trying to push but still he's not able to and due to which now he intakes less of milk. he is on formula milk and sometimes breast milk. Please suggest what to do in this case??

A. Doctor we are already giving him Carmicide drops ( Simethicone oral suspension USP) but still the problem is there???

A. constipation in small babies lesser than 6 month of age is very common and is more common when you are giving formula feeding in such a case you can give Himalaya bonnisan drops three times a day to your child and give frequent feeding usually medicines or suppositories are avoided in such a case and constipation of few days can be considered as normal. if tpppihe baby is having gastric pain you can give collimax drops.if you need to give any enzyme preparation to your child you can consult doctor
