Q.

#AskTheExpert my one month old baby hasn’t yet regained the birth weight ie 3kg. Currently she weighs 2.7kg and is exclusively breastfed. Urine and stool output is normal and also look content after feeding. So why there is an issue gaining weight? Is it possible that the otherwise healthy baby has an issue gaining weight?

A. Hello mom not to Worry as her other milestones and overall growth is occuring . Babies tend to almost gain about 300 GMs to 1 kg monthly and then by the age of 4 to 6 months they double Their birth weight and
