Q.

#AskTheExpert My newborn is on breast milk complemented with top feed. I’ve noticed that even though we burp him after every feed, he squirms and acts like he will vomit. But he never brings out anything, he seems to chew on whatever has come upto his mouth and swallow it back. He is also very gassy. Any suggestions?

A. always burp after feed keep baby in upright position and gently rub the baby back for some time.. don't immediately put baby on bed after feed.. maintain gap between feeds.. give small serve. babies will throw out after feed because of reflux action, this is common..
