#asktheexpert My newborn baby is being breastfeed at present. But due to frequent feeding we are not able to produce enough milk to satisfy his appetite. So, is supplementing breast milk with formula Ok?

A. Giving your baby formula in addition to breastfeeding is called supplementing. It's completely fine and perfectly safe to do.
