#asktheexpert My newborn baby girl was born with the weight 2.9kg, but soon after 12 days she was about 3.5kg and after 3 weeks she is complete 4kg in weight, she is on exclusive breastfeeding, doing every other activity as per the age, peeing and pooping normally, but I am concerned about the rapid weight gain. Is it okay or should I worry and consult about it?

Since your baby is peeing and pooping normally and doing well with other activities, this rapid weight gain is likely a positive sign of healthy growth.
