#asktheexpert my new born baby weight is 1.970 kg. The hospital kept in nicu. There is another case with same weight in another hospital where baby is with mother. Is it really require to kept baby whose weight is below 2.2 kg. baby intake and other activities are normal

A. baby is active and normal activities dont worry.. your pediatric will keep a track.. it is exclusively breast feeding recommended for six months.. baby generally should gain around 500 to 800 g per month..
