#asktheexpert my new born baby is vaccinated with bcg. now she is 22 days old. till now a inner bump is there in the place of vaccination in her hand. how many days it takes to melt

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children1 Year agoA. generally it will not melt it will open this charging some pus and blood and will be healing. the very purpose of giving vaccine to the baby is to have proper immunity please take all optional and essential vaccine to the baby if you have already missed any one of them

I should have settled by now if it is still there the bump and lump is still there then it’s important that you kindly talk to your paediatrician they’ll tell you what do you need to apply on that to settle down because it would be irritable and painful for the child to quite an extent
