#AskTheExpert my menstrual period is not started after my delivery in august 20, is this normal?

A. yes it is absolutely normal you can wait for your periods to resume tell one year till then no medication is needed just maintain a Healthy lifestyle with regular exercise and good nutrition

A. Hi, since you’ll be breastfeeding your periods might get delayed. Some people will get periods by third month or six-month some will get after one year or 1.5 years. I got my periods after 1.5 year. Have a healthy fibre and calcium rich food and take adequate liquid and keep yourself hydrated. If you have any doubt about pregnancy then it is better to take pregnancy test and take precautions.
