no need to worry
it is kind of self soothing mechanism.
it will alright by the time.
just try to distract your child by giving toys.

AmitFather of a 4 yr 6 m old girl4 years agoA. yes, this is common during this time post her birth per the number of months you mentioned. to chew, you may give baby a silicone teether (which are available easily in the market) or consult your paediatrician about this too. From Milk perspective, as per doctor's advice you may also give her a recommended stage 1 top feed using a bottle. you would typically need to get her attention off from chewing her hand at times, by doing different things and keeping your baby busy.. hope this helps!
