#asktheexpert My little girl is having cough and cough ..right now she is given Asthalin for cough and maxtra for cold ...pls help me how to deal with it ...

A. hi doctor my 3 month baby is having cold and cough and there is no Doctor available in villages and he is not available to breathe properly. asthalin (salbutamol respiratory solution) and nebulizer is available is it ok to use while reaching hospital

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of vihhral infection or seasonal flu whgere most of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

A. Pls follow your doctor. As your kid is small with regards to medication, I feel It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now. You may warm some coocnut oil add some tulsi leaves and apply to baby's chest and sole for relief. You may alos apply warm mustard oil infused with sole garlic pods. Give medicines too if needed. Keep bbay hydrated
