#AskTheExpert my kid is 6 years old and having fever fr past 4 days..today is hos 5th day in fever.and fever is 101 to 103....is it viral or should we go for blood test

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician2 years agoA. If the fever persists for five days then you need to rahe a blood test as viral fever usually subsides within four to five days so consult your doctor once give him more liquids

follow your observing doctor..
viral fever takes 5-7 to subside..
monitor temperature at regular intervals
keep baby well hydrated increase the water intake
